New Studio Build & Game Re-brand

Upon purchase of the acclaimed strategic WWII FPS Hell Let Loose, Team17 set out to build a new studio around the IP to support the popular live service title. I was brought in to help build the new studio (Cover 6 Studios), define a unique 5 year roadmap, increase the player base, and manage the P&L. After careful market analysis, we built up the team and foundations to take Hell Let Loose into a whole new era.

In order to generate a high quality and successful marketing plan, Product Market Fit & Total Addressable Market (TAM) research was conducted and analyzed prior to building the master plan.

Go-To-Market Plan

Poster Campaign

Working with Shepard Fairey (known for Obey & Obama Hope) we designed a new poster campaign for each major update starting in August 2022. WWII was known for propaganda in and having a modern day poster artist, known for bringing people together, would be a perfect addition to the marketing core elements.

Announcement

The studio build-out and branding project took approx. 6 months and culminated in two new websites, all new brand materials, doubled the size of the community and a 5 year roadmap that was well received by new and veteran players.
