In 2020 Opera was looking to officially launch it’s nee browser Opera GX. The company had designed the browser with the modern gamer in mind but didn’t know how to reach their core audience since there had never been a web browser specifically made for the gaming audience.
Working directly with their product team and internal brand team, a strategy was designed to rebrand Opera as the first browser built specifically for gamers. The plan was adopted to tackle the gaming market and launch their new and exciting product worldwide.
